Born from the desire to create an IGT with a strong connection to our region, we wanted to highlight our Canaiolo, a native Tuscan wine, made even more pleasant by a touch of Merlot. An ancient history gives its name to this splendid combination of Tuscan soul and French heart for a well-structured wine with excellent drinkability.

70% CANAIOLO, 30% MERLOT
Maceration and fermentation on the skins for two weeks. Aging in cement for Canaiolo and 12 months in barrique for Merlot
It presents a beautiful ruby red tending towards garnet with excellent transparency, beautifully bright. The aroma is intense and complex, playing on fruity and spicy tones with hints of slightly wilted flowers. On the palate, the wine is dry and smooth. Well balanced between acidity and tannins. Fruity mouthfeel, beautiful harmony, savory.
First courses with typical Tuscan sauces like pappardelle with wild boar ragù, pappa al pomodoro, semi-aged cheeses.
