Tasting Notes

Amber color with bright and enticing reflections, broad enveloping nose without pungency made of chestnuts, ginger, molasses and caramel with touches of black pepper. On the palate it reveals oak and vanilla while unfolding a full-bodied and lively sip accompanied by a slight warm note. Succulent mouthfeel with notes reminiscent of kola nut, licorice and mustard and a finish dusted with cocoa, long and suave, savory and salty.

Food Pairings

The traditional Tuscan pairing calls for Vin Santo to always be accompanied by traditional cantuccini biscuits, but it would be a shame to use it only to accompany these cookies. Choose the right cheese or rather an evening or afternoon in which to give it the right space.
It can become the secret ingredient for a premium Tuscan-style tiramisù.
